Dennis Edward Nagl, 63,  of Darien died of natural causes at his home on June 2, 2013. Dennis
was born Sept. 23, 1949 in North Lake, Illinois the son of Frank Otto Nagl and Margaret J. Meyer He married Nancy Cave on June 26, 1971 in Palatine, IL.
Dennis (“Denny”) was employed for more than 30 years in the Maintenance & Engineering Department at Memorial & Centegra Hospitals, and for the last several years, at Mary Endres Elementary School, in Woodstock, IL.
Along with being the proud co-owner with his wife of the Darien & Sharon, WI Ice Cream Shoppes, Dennis also enjoyed working building & remodeling projects, tending to his garden, maintaining beehives & chickens on his farmette, and spending whatever time he could with his family.  He was a hard working, unselfish man who enjoyed helping others, was a dedicated husband, and always a terrific father & grandfather.  He attended Lakeland Community Church in Elkhorn, WI, enjoyed the White Sox  & Brewers, and loved to check things off his “to-do lists”.  His genuine concern for others, Christian principles, and distinctive laugh left lasting impressions on those who knew Dennis over the years and he will be truly missed. He is survived
by his wife, Nancy; 1 son Justin (Chelsey) Nagl of East Troy,WI, 3 daughters, Sarah Nagl of Hampshire, IL
April  (Ryan)Nagl of Janesville,WI and Becky (Aaron) Nagl of Wms Bay, WI.  3 brothers, Ron (Cory) Nagl of
Spring Green, WI; Gary (Pat) Nagl of Deer Park, IL; Al (Lynn)Nagl of Berwyn, IL. :1 sister, Marie (Paul)
Herl of Loveland, CO. 5 grandchildren, Faith, Emma, Max, Kayla and Dylan. Dennis was predeceased by
his parents.  Memorial services are 2pm Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Lakeland Community Church,
Hwy 67, Delavan Twsp. with the Rev. Josh Amstutz. There will be a gathering from 12noon to 2pm
at the church.  Betzer Funeral Home is
serving the Nagl Family.
